Cinque Ports Pirates – Youth Section

The Pirates is the youth dinghy section of the Royal Cinque Ports Yacht Club located on the beach front and is attached to Dover Sea Sports.
During the summer months the Pirates aim to attend Kent Schools Sailing Association (KSSA) sailing events in the South East Kent area.
In past years the Pirates attended events at Sandwich, Broadstairs, Redoubt, using the boats from Dover Sea Sports.
These KSSA events allow the Pirates to put into practice the skills they have learnt sailing in Dover Harbour.

The Pirates go sailing on;

Saturday Mornings. Meeting at 09:30 to be on the water at 10:00

The sailing lasts for a couple of hours, where the Pirates practice the skills that they have learnt on their sailing courses with Dover Sea Sports.

We encourage parents to participate by helping with the boats, going on the safety boat or sailing if there are spare boats available.

Oh, parents also have to bring the staff cakes or jam doughnuts!!!
